I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.  He will come

Yesterday my computer came to a complete halt.  The screen went blank.
The project I was working on disappeared. My whole day fell was ruined.  
In panic mode, I called my son-in-law to come to my rescue.  He found
three nasty viruses attached to my system.  It took a little time but he was
able to successfully cleanse the software and strengthen the firewalls to
prevent it from happening again.  My project was lost forever.

It seemed impossible that a little bug could infect the entire system.
Where do they come from anyway?  How shocking to learn that viruses are
engineered by people whose only purpose is to cause trouble. Their goal
is to stop work from progressing, to hinder productivity. This is done
without regard to people whose lives are suddenly on hold due to equipment
breakdown.  Computer viruses serve no useful purpose.  None.

It reminds me of John 10:10.  The enemy is like a computer virus with a
goal to make us miserable and unproductive—the opposite of our Lord and
Savior who brings stability and productivity into our lives.  He leads us into
those peaceful green pastures of peace.

Thank you Jesus, for being our firewall.  Please keep our lives free of
the evil intent of the enemy.
